Dr. Timothy Nichols serves as the Medical Director of ECUC. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and has over 10 years experience in Emergency Medical Care.  Dr. Nichols is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va.  He then went to complete his Specialty in Emergency Medicine at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La.  He is Board Certified by the American College of Emergency Physicians.  Dr. Nichols had recognized the real need for quality Urgent Care in Destin and Panama City, subsequently he is one of the founders of ECUC. He has lived and practiced medicine on the Emerald Coast since 1997.

Kathi is a nationally certified Physician Assistant.   She earned her Master’s of Science in Biomedical Science (MSBS) degree from the University of Toledo in Ohio in 2000.    Her experience as a physician assistant has been in emergency medicine; however she spent one year specializing in orthopedic medicine.  Kathi received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio University.  She graduated Summa Cum-Laude.   Prior to being a physician assistant, she was a certified respiratory therapy technician and worked at Ohio State Medical Center.  She specialized in trauma, burn intensive care and neonatal intensive care.  She is originally from Ohio and follows buckeye football.  She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA) and the Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA).
